Dimarco warns of fierce Scudetto race as Inter vows relentless hunger
Inter left‑back Federico Dimarco told reporters in Udine on October 14, 2025 that the Nerazzurri will start the new Serie A campaign with the same hunger that drove last season’s Double, while warning that a crowded field of Scudetto challengers – notably Milan, Napoli and Juventus – will make the race fierce.
TuttoMercatoWeb reported that Dimarco recorded 18 assists and earned the Serie A MVP award last season, underlining his creative influence for Inter. The statistics highlight his role in the side that secured the Double.
"I always try to do my bit and give the team a big hand," Dimarco said. "My way of training hasn’t changed, not after the Champions League disappointment nor after last year’s Double."
"Sometimes results come more, sometimes a little less, but to have a clear conscience you must always give 100%," he added. He described this mindset as the basis for daily growth.

A photo by Marco Luzzani captured Dimarco warming up for Italy’s World Cup 2026 qualifier against Israel at Stadio Friuli in Udine on October 14, 2025. The image shows the Italian international observing the pitch before the match.
Dimarco listed Inter’s principal Scudetto rivals as Milan, Napoli, Juventus, Roma and Atalanta, and noted that Como are also strengthening their squad. He warned that the competition for the title will be intense.

He argued that clubs not involved in the Champions League may enjoy a slight edge because the tournament drains a lot of energy. According to him, the Champions League takes away significant stamina from participating teams.
"I see this Inter as in other years: a team that sets out to fight to win the Scudetto," Dimarco said. He concluded that all teams start at the same level.
