De Zerbi under pressure as Spurs fail to score in four games
Roberto De Zerbi, manager of Tottenham Hotspur, was booed at the final whistle after the second goalless draw, leaving the team without a win or goals in the Premier League this season. The Spurs have amassed only two points from four games, despite a summer spend of around €350 million.
Two goalless draws
Last Sunday the team drew 0‑0 at home against Everton, after the previous 0‑0 against Nottingham Forest, extending the run of minutes without a goal to over 400. The event was recorded in LONDON, ENGLAND – MAY 24.
Line-up and attacking attempts
De Zerbi set up a 4‑2‑3‑1 with Kinsky in goal, the defence made up of Gray, van Hecke, van der Ven and Robertson, and midfield featuring Tonali and Bentancur, supported by Savio, Mateus Fernandes and Marmoush behind striker Solanke. Tottenham started well for the first fifteen minutes, but produced little substance, while Everton took control for long periods. After the break the manager introduced Tel, Kudus and Bergvall, but the playing model remained unchanged.

League position and upcoming fixtures
The Spurs sit in seventeenth place in the table, with a next home match against Aston Villa. Before that clash, De Zerbi will have to face a tough trip to Anfield for the League Cup against Liverpool, scheduled for Tuesday.
The lack of goals and wins has increased the pressure on De Zerbi, who must find a quick answer to turn around a season so far disappointing.
