De Jong returns after a ligament rupture that left Barcelona without answers

Frenkie de Jong hasn't played football since June 30, when Morocco eliminated the Netherlands from the World Cup and he logged 110 minutes with clear injury symptoms. On that occasion he said: “someone fell on me and I had a problem with my knee.”
Upon arriving in Barcelona after his holidays, the club's medical staff diagnosed a tear of the right knee's medial collateral ligament. The handling of the injury upset the club, from coach Flick to president Laporta. Now De Jong is back, although you could say he is starting from zero.
