De Bruyne remains available to Belgium and does not return to Napoli
Yesterday afternoon, SSC Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne confirmed that he will not return to Napoli before the next club commitment, despite the Belgian federation's desire to have him available.
The suspension that blocks the return
De Bruyne finished the last Nations League match against Turkey with a spectacular brace, but he also received a heavy yellow card. The second consecutive warning forces him to miss the next round against Zinedine Zidane's France.
According to federation rules, it is up to Belgium to decide whether to release a player early; the federation has chosen to keep De Bruyne in the national team camp.

He is not the only one facing the suspension: fellow midfielder Youri Tielemans will also remain with the national team and will watch the match against France from the stands.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio on his portal, the decision was taken at the will of the Belgian Federation, which keeps both players available for Belgium.
