Davide Bartesaghi praises Amorim and Ramos, celebrates Fair Play award

The 20‑year‑old full‑back Davide Bartesaghi, a breakthrough player of AC Milan, received the Gentleman Fair Play award at the Teuliè Military School in Milan, and used the occasion to praise coach Ruben Amorim and forward Gonçalo Ramos for their contribution to the team.

Renewed confidence before the clash with Sassuolo

“The confidence is high, I always feel it. Tomorrow we will meet again – after this long break – and we will do our best to prepare well for the challenge with Sassuolo,” the defender said. He added that the team only thinks about itself, without worrying about the opponents.

Bartesaghi praised coach Ruben Amorim, stating: “I love Ruben Amorim. He is a great coach, talks to me frequently and we have a good relationship.” He also congratulated Gonçalo Ramos for the goals he scored for the national team, saying the congratulations were for him and for all the teammates.

This season, the defender has made four appearances for AC Milan, a performance that earned him a call‑up to Italy’s U21 side. His development has been entirely within the Rossoneri set‑up, where he continues to progress.

Davide Bartesaghi was present at the 31st edition of the Gentleman Fair Play Award, where he received the club’s breakthrough award. The event highlighted fair play and the exemplary conduct of the young players.

With renewed confidence, Bartesaghi hopes to contribute to AC Milan’s success in the match against Sassuolo and cement his place in the first‑team squad.
