Croky Cup dates set as Jupiler Pro League clubs map weekend start

The complete round‑of‑16 timetable for the Croky Cup has been confirmed, with all sixteen ties allocated across three days from Friday 16 October to Zondag 18 October. The schedule was released on Wednesday, giving Jupiler Pro League clubs a clear view of when their cup journey begins.

The Pro League disclosed the exact kick‑off times on Wednesday, marking the first occasion the round of 16 will be completed over a weekend rather than mid‑week. The new calendar also earmarks the quarter‑finals for a weekend in early December, allowing clubs and supporters to plan ahead.

Friday fixtures

Friday evening kicks off the competition with four opening duels. SK Beveren meet Habay‑la‑Neuve and Sporting Hasselt face Cercle Brugge, both fixtures slated for 20.30. A later clash at 21.00 sees Standard take on FCV Dender.

Saturday fixtures

Saturday hosts the bulk of the action, starting at 17.30 with KSK Heist versus Antwerp, OH Leuven against Francs Borains and RAEC Mons meeting Sporting Charleroi. The evening schedule adds four more ties, highlighted by Club Brugge travelling to KSC Lokeren at 20.45, alongside Virton versus KRC Genk, Zulte Waregem versus RFC Seraing and RAAL La Louvière versus RFC Liège. These matches round out the Saturday programme.

Zondag climax

Zondag’s programme begins early at 13.30, with KV Mechelen hosting KAS Eupen, Union Rochefortoise welcoming KAA Gent and defending champions Union SG playing KFC Nijlen. The marquee clash sees Anderlecht travel to Kiel to face Beerschot at 18.00, followed half an hour later by Sint-Truiden versus Lommel SK, which will close the round at Stayen. These fixtures mark the final day of the Croky Cup’s round of 16.

For the first time the round of 16 is confined to a weekend, and the subsequent quarter‑finals will also be scheduled over a weekend, from 4 to 6 December. The fixed programme allows clubs at all levels to finalise their calendars and supporters to plan their attendance.
