Colchoneros vs Reds duel this Wednesday under TV spotlights
On Wednesday evening, Liverpool’s Reds meet Atlético de Madrid’s Colchoneros at 9 pm in the Champions League stage, under TV lights. After the arrival of Bradley Barcola, LFC will face the Spanish Andoni Iraola, successor to Arne Slot, in a decisive test.
TV and streaming broadcast
The match will be broadcast on Canal+ Foot, a channel dedicated to football, from 9 pm. Subscribers will also be able to follow it live via the MyCanal streaming platform.
This meeting recalls a classic from the recent era of the Champions League, where the two clubs have already faced each other several times. The clash between Liverpool and Atlético de Madrid always generates strong enthusiasm among supporters.
The Reds, after signing Bradley Barcola to boost their attack, LFC line up Alisson, Araujo, Jacquet, Van Dijk and Kerkez in defence. In midfield, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch, Barcola, Wirtz and Gakpo complete the eleven, with Isak up front.
New signings and tactical stakes
The Colchoneros, under the guidance of the Spanish Andoni Iraola, appointed this summer to succeed Arne Slot, are entering a post‑Griezmann era. The club also went through a chaotic summer marked by the saga surrounding its star Julian Alvarez.
Goalkeeper Oblak will be between the posts, followed by Llorente, Pubill, Romero and Grimaldo in defence. In midfield, Koke, Hjulmand, Simeone, Baena and Lookman support the attack, with David up front.
This first match against Diego Simeone’s Atlético constitutes an interesting test for LFC, which is looking to regain European heights. Both managers will have to adjust their strategies from the opening minutes.
Thus, the duel will pit Liverpool’s English strategy against Atlético’s Spanish approach, while offering viewers a high‑quality broadcast on Canal+ Foot and MyCanal.
