Club Brugge must outbid Sporting CP for Elche winger Germán Valera

Club Brugge have begun the campaign with eighteen points from a possible twenty‑one, and their summer transfer business is already rated as very good. The Belgian side have now turned their attention to 24‑year‑old Elche winger Germán Valera, a player also coveted by Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Elche's stance on Valera

Elche have made it clear they do not wish to pressure the player, preferring to retain him. Chairman Joaquín Buitrago told the Spanish press: “It is our intention to keep him with us, then it is correct.”
