Chelsea eyes Conceição As Mendes pushes Pedro neto to Al Hilal

Francisco Conceição could depart Juventus at the close of the transfer window, as coach Massimiliano Spalletti is expected to start him for Frosinone, while agent Jorge Mendes is on the verge of sealing Pedro Neto’s move to Al Hilal and positioning Chelsea to bid €30 million for Conceição.

Juventus’ summer dilemma

Juventus is listening to offers and waiting until the market closes to decide which players to keep in order to stay balanced on the books. The club’s feeling is that it may have to sacrifice a top talent, but the final decision will also depend on the opportunities that arise.

Conceiçao himself has expressed a desire to remain, seeing La Juventus as an ideal environment to develop further. Nevertheless, the club’s financial plan could make the €30 million fee attractive enough to outweigh his personal wishes.

So far, no offers have materialised for the other “sacrificabili” listed on the Continassa, and Mendes has warned that the Portuguese winger could leave if the right proposal appears. The player was informed early in the market of the risk of a sale.

Mendes drives the market

Mendes is a step away from finalising Pedro Neto’s transfer to Al Hilal, after the latest Arab club bid narrowed the gap with Chelsea’s demand, suggesting the wall could crumble soon.

If Neto’s move goes through, Conceição becomes Chelsea’s primary target, and the English club is unlikely to abandon the €30 million price tag.
