Cercle Brugge eyes 20‑year‑old former PSV talent Joel Ndala
Twenty‑year‑old winger Joel Ndala is set to leave Manchester City for a permanent move to Belgian side Cercle Brugge. The 20‑year‑old, who previously featured for PSV, has attracted the Belgian club after a series of loan spells, according to transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
Ndala joined Manchester City’s youth academy in 2016 after being taken from Port Vale at the age of ten. He progressed through the English club’s full youth system as a right‑footed winger.
For Manchester City’s Under‑18 team he played 41 matches, scoring 17 goals and providing eight assists. His performances at that level drew attention from several clubs.
He later gained experience on loan at Jong PSV, Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday. Those temporary moves gave him senior‑level exposure in different leagues.
According to Tavolieri, both Manchester City and Cercle Brugge have reached an agreement on a permanent transfer. The deal is in its final stage but has not yet been officially confirmed by either club.
If completed, the transfer will see Ndala move permanently to the Jupiler Pro League, offering the former PSV attacker a notable adventure in Belgian football.
