PSG’s €45 million outlay is set to be shared, with KRC Genk slated to receive roughly €4.4 million from the 10 percent future‑sale clause. In addition, both KRC Genk and RSC Anderlecht will each collect about €450 000 from the solidarity contribution for training the player between ages 12 and 23.

After a winter 2023 move to Ajax, the Dutch club paid €1 million to Genk and secured a 10 percent sell‑on clause. Godts logged 25 matches for Jong Ajax and 115 appearances for the Ajax first team, contributing 26 goals and 28 assists.
