Carnevale backs Allegri and praises Jesus as Napoli target

Andrea Carnevale told the Corriere del Mezzogiorno that his endorsement of Massimiliano Allegri as the ideal coach for Napoli, coupled with his admiration for Gabriel Jesus, adds weight to the club's strategic direction in this historic phase.

He added that Allegri is "the right profile to inherit Conte's legacy at Napoli" and recalled saying this when he arrived in the city for the centenary celebrations. "He is the ideal coach in this historic phase, a person who has won a lot, who understands football and players, has shown great qualities in squad management, does not invent anything, and values rationality, clarity and simplicity," Carnevale said.

Carnevale concluded with a simple message for the club: "Di vincere a Napoli perché vincere in questa città è meraviglioso al di là di quello che ha conquistato altrove". The comments were published in a Stampa A− A+ outlet and featured among the Ultime notizie calcio Napoli.
