Camara saves Jong Ajax, Veerman and Van den Hurk hit hat‑tricks

Abdoulaye Camara’s long‑range free‑kick rescued Jong Ajax from defeat, while Henk Veerman’s hat‑trick propelled FC Volendam up the table and Van den Hurk’s three‑goal haul secured a 2‑3 win for Roda JC, underscoring a busy weekend in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie again.

Emmen climb and Heracles hold top spot

FC Emmen have secured impressive results in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. They travelled to Arnhem and beat Vitesse, which lifted them to second place. Their rise was aided by Almere City’s 2‑3 defeat to Roda JC.

Heracles Almelo remain top of the table despite failing to win against NAC Breda. The match in Breda ended 1‑1, with Charles Andreas Brym opening the scoring – his sixth consecutive league appearance to find the net. Jean‑Paul N’Djoli was sent off in the sixteenth minute and Tristan van Gilst added a second‑half goal from eleven metres.

Jong Ajax were rescued by Abdoulaye Camara, who struck a long‑range free‑kick that forced a 3‑3 draw with TOP Oss. Earlier, Salazar had given Ajax the lead from a Pharrell Nash cross, and Emre Ünüvar doubled the advantage. A mistake by goalkeeper Joeri Heerkens allowed TOP Oss to level, while Maxim Mariani restored parity before a corner from Visser gave Ajax the final lead before they were pegged back.
