CAF Awards: Bundesliga duo Maza, Kofane and Diomande nominated

As part of the CAF Awards, the Bundesliga duo Maza, Kofane and Diomande, along with Hamza Abdelkarim (Barcelona), Ayyoub Bouaddi (Manchester City), Christ Inao Oulaï (AC Florence), Ismaël Kamissoko (Étoiles du Mandé), Ibrahim Mbaye (Aston Villa), Abdellah Ouazane (Ajax Amsterdam) and Caleb Yirenkyi (Coventry City) appear on the nomination list.

A Bundesliga player has already won the Africaine Football Player of the Year Award twice: Achraf Hakimi won in 2018 and 2019 with Borussia Dortmund, and a year earlier Patson Daka, now with Hamburger SV, was honoured.
