BVB eye Saudi offensive talent Louay Labidi as alternative
According to sports journalist Mohammed from Saudi Arabia, the German top club Borussia Dortmund (BVB) sees the 19‑year‑old attacking player Louay Labidi of Al‑Hilal as a genuine alternative for the next career step. The BVB has already shown interest in the talented striker and plans to sign him in the upcoming winter.
Scout Report and Spanish Interest
The player was offered to the black‑yellows through a scout, and Borussia Dortmund's reaction is said to have been enthusiastic. So far only another club has been in talks, but a Spanish club has also set its sights on the centre‑forward, according to confirmations.
The 19‑year‑old's contract with Al‑Hilal ends next summer, allowing him to negotiate a free transfer from 01.01. January would be the last opportunity for the Saudi club to obtain a transfer sum before a free move in the winter could become possible.
Louay Labidi, Saudi Arabia's U20 international, can be deployed in the centre of attack, in the attacking midfield, and on the right flank. His versatility matches Borussia Dortmund's recent criteria for a top attacking talent. His ability is regarded by the officials as high.
If the BVB shows serious interest, a winter move cannot be ruled out. A potential transfer to the Ruhr area would represent an interesting option for both parties, should the black‑yellows accept the offer.
So far, however, no talks have taken place between Borussia Dortmund and Al‑Hilal, meaning all details so far are based on reports.
