Bundesliga relief: Jamal Musiala addresses recent on‑field collapses
Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala reassured fans on Tuesday evening, confirming he is fine after suffering two on‑field fainting episodes three days apart in Bundesliga matches, explaining the incidents have a medical cause and that he expects to be ready for upcoming fixtures.
The first episode occurred during a match, followed by a second collapse three days later, both raising concerns among observers and supporters about his health.
Musiala explained his condition on Tuesday, saying:
Un problème neurologique, not cardiac, underlies the episodes and is easily treatable. Musiala added he expects to be fit for Bayern’s first Bundesliga game on 28 August against Stuttgart and possibly for the German Super Cup versus Dortmund on Saturday.
