Bundesliga market values: Musiala loses €20 million, Olise rises
At the training ground of FC Bayern the mood is subdued as Jamal Musiala leaves the pitch after a muscle tear in his right thigh. The 22‑year‑old international loses another €20 million in the current market‑value update, dropping to €80 million. The injury follows a neurological dysfunction that already caused absences during pre‑season.
Musiala's Value Loss in Focus
Musiala's market value fell by €20 million in the new update, according to market‑value coordinator Tobias Kröger. Kröger said: “Unfortunately Jamal Musiala feels the effects of the past months. Due to various health issues and the resulting performance fluctuations, the market value of the German international drops to €80 million.” This puts Musiala back at the level of four years ago. When Musiala started warming up in the Nations League match against the Netherlands (1‑1), he suffered the muscle tear.
Olise Sets New Benchmark
Michael Olise continues to extend his market‑value benchmark, adding €10 million to reach €180 million. The Frenchman has scored twelve goals in his first seven games and therefore remains the only Bundesliga professional in the three‑digit‑million range. According to TM expert Kröger, Olise is “world‑wide only behind Lamine Yamal, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé” in value. Olise was also decisive for France’s victory in the Nations League.
Further Upgrades at Bayern
In addition to Olise, Alphonso Davies (+€5 million to €45 million), Bara Sapoko Ndiaye (+€4 million to €8 million) and returning player Tom Bischof (+€5 million to €45 million) have increased their values. These gains contribute to a total squad value of just under €1.04 billion. The upgrades reflect individual standout performances, although Musiala still remains below the €100 million mark.

Eight DFB Rookies on the Rise
In Jürgen Klopp’s XXL squad there are several DFB rookies who have gained significantly in the update. Freiburg’s Derry Scherhant adds €12.5 million to reach €20 million, while his Frankfurt teammate rises by €10 million to €18 million. Further upgrades involve Felix Keidel (+€3.8 million to €5 million) from SV Elversberg, Bambasé Conté (+€3 million to €7 million) from TSG Hoffenheim and Hennes Behrens (+€3 million to €8 million) from FC Augsburg. The sports club reaches almost €33 million, taking second place among the biggest gainers of the update.
Other Players Reach New Milestones
Jordy Makengo raises his value by €4 million to €10 million, Yuito Suzuki by €4 million to €28 million. Igor Matanovic increases his market value by €8 million to €30 million, becoming the third Freiburg player to surpass the €30 million mark. In Freiburg’s history, Matanovic now counts among the top‑3 most valuable players.
