Bruges soars to Milan with Carlos Forbs finally available

Club Brugge released on Monday the list of players who are flying this afternoon to Milan to face Inter on Tuesday night in the Champions League, and confirms the presence of Portuguese winger Carlos Forbs, who left injured on the pitch of RAAL La Louvière this weekend.

Departure and training in Milan

After a final session in Belgium scheduled for Monday late morning, the Club Brugge players left Ostend airport in the afternoon to fly to Milan. They will have one hour of training on the grass of the Giuseppe Meazza stadium before heading to their hotel and spending the evening calmly, on the eve of the match.

Ivan Leko, manager of Club Brugge, will hold a press conference at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium together with his first‑choice goalkeeper, former Inter international Yann Sommer. This meeting has a particular significance for Sommer, who played in Milan for many years.

Two years ago, Club Brugge had already travelled to Milan to face AC Milan in the Champions League, suffering a defeat but with honour. This new visit against Inter recalls the experience gained from that previous Italian incursion.

Here's how to watch Inter vs Club Brugge live in the Champions League

Full squad and stakes of the duel

The Blauw & Zwart have three goalkeepers in the squad: Portuguese Yann Sommer, Nordin Jackers and Argus Vanden Driessche. Sommer, who has played for Inter, remains the expected starter for the duel.

In defence, Club Brugge lined up Hanbeom Lee, Matteo Dams, Hugo Siquet, Brandon Mechele, Jorne Spileers, Kyriani Sabbe and Joaquin Seys. This defensive line will have to contain Inter's formidable attack.

The midfield includes Freddie Potts, Hugo Vetlesen, Cheveyo Tsawa, Hans Vanaken, Lynnt Audoor and Félix Lemaréchal. These players will provide creativity and balance between defence and attack.

Club Brugge eye Tresoldi and Sommer against Inter in Champions

In attack, the squad brings together Nicolò Tresoldi, Carlos Forbs, Jan Virgili, Romeo Vermant, Wisdom Mike, Milan Robberechts, Mamadou Diakhon and Andrej Vasovic. The confirmed presence of Carlos Forbs, after his injury at La Louvière, strengthens Club Brugge's attacking options.
