Bremer poised to reject Galatasaray as Juventus chase Lucumi
Gleison Bremer of Juventus is reportedly ready to reject Galatasaray, with Italian sources saying the defender is not convinced by the Turkish side’s proposal. The Brazilian international’s hesitation comes as Galatasaray intensifies its pursuit of Bologna’s Colombian forward Jhon Lucumi.
Galatasaray’s offer for Bremer is said to be a contract worth €8m per season net, a figure that may not be sufficient to persuade the defender. Reports suggest the Turkish club’s bid falls short of Bremer’s expectations, prompting him to consider staying in Turin.
With Bremer unlikely to move, Galatasaray have turned their attention to Bologna, targeting Jhon Lucumi. The Colombian striker represents a potential alternative for the Turkish side as they seek to strengthen their squad.
Juventus, known as the Bianconeri, had planned to sell Bremer to free up space for Lucumi, despite a €25m asking price that complicates the deal. The club also considered including midfielder Fabio Miretti in the package, although Bologna reportedly prefers a cash-only transaction.
On June 14, Bremer arrived at the airport in Lewisburg, West Virginia ahead of the official FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The arrival was captured in a photo by Michael Owens/Getty Images, highlighting the Brazil international’s presence in the United States.
Earlier, on May 9, 2026, Bremer featured for Juventus in a Serie A match against US Lecce at Stadio Via del Mare in Lecce, Italy, with a photograph by Maurizio Lagana/Getty Images. He has also begun pre‑season training two days early to convince coach Luciano Spalletti of his commitment to remain at the club.
