Bodo/Glimt host Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League

Today, at 21:00, Bodo/Glimt and Borussia Dortmund will meet in the league phase of the Champions League at Aspmyra Stadion. Swiss referee Urs Schnyder will officiate the match, assisted in VAR by Bram Van Driessche.

Line-ups and technical decisions

Coach Niko Kovač opts for goalkeeper Kobel between the posts and a defence consisting of Bensebaini, Anton and Gadou. In midfield, Svensson, Bellingham, Veerman and Beier, while the attack includes Inácio, Karetsas and Fábio Silva. Guirassy remains on the bench and Jobe leads the German line.

For his part, coach Kjetil Knutsen selects Haikin as goalkeeper and a defence made up of Sjøvold, Gundersen, Aleesami and Bjørkan. The midfield is occupied by Auklend, Berg and Brunstad Fet, and the attack is handled by Blomberg, Helmersen and Hauge. Bodo's substitutes include Assan Sanyang, Kasper Solhaug, Villads Nielsen, Joel Mvuka, Isak Määttä, Ola Brynhildsen, Julian Faye Lund and Ulrik Saltnes.

In the standings, after the rout against Bayern, Bodo sits in the last position with no points and five goals conceded. Borussia Dortmund, with a goal difference of +1, is twelfth with three points.

Dortmund arrives with confidence after beating Villarreal (3-2) in their European debut and seeks another win to stay in the race for the top places, despite the recent draw in the Bundesliga against Werder Bremen.

The Norwegian side needs to respond after a difficult debut against Bayern Munich, where they suffered a 5-0 defeat. The home factor and fan support will be key to trying to mount resistance against the German side.
