Boadu assists as Watford edge Lincoln 1-0

While Lincoln fell to a narrow defeat, Dutch forward Myron Boadu of Ghanaian descent helped Watford secure a 1-0 win on Tuesday night in the English Championship. The former AZ Alkmaar star started the Week 14 fixture for his side and played 60 minutes before making way for Mamadou Doumbia.
Before leaving the pitch, Boadu worked his socks off for the home team, particularly in the first half. A minute into the second half he set up Stephy Mavididi for the only goal, sealing all three points for Watford. The victory keeps Watford twentieth in the Championship, two places above the relegation zone.
Watford now aim for another win on Saturday, November 7, when they face Middlesbrough. Boadu, 25, has two goals and one assist in seven appearances since the start of the 2026/27 season. Although he has yet to hit top form, his displays in the last two matches have impressed.
