Bischof wants to show Klopp that double burden is no obstacle

In a brief phone call with the new national team coach Jürgen Klopp, Bayern midfielder Tom Bischof received the order to first lead the German U21 team as captain before moving up to the A national team – a double appointment that he describes as a central task and hopes to solidify his role in the national team with it.

Bischof's Role at Bayern

In this Bundesliga season, Bischof has so far made three substitutions and one start for Bayern Munich.

The midfielder emphasizes that he sees no conflict between the roles and looks forward to the coming week with the A team, where he also wants to take on responsibility.

Bischof said ... and emphasized that the deployment was important to him.

According to the report, Jürgen Klopp called Bischof and asked if he would like to play the U21 match in Latvia before moving to the A national team.

The coaches of the U21 and A team see Bischof's deployment as an important signal for the youth squad; coach Antonio Di Salvo emphasizes that the midfielder wears the captain's armband and takes on considerably more responsibility than at FC Bayern.

Di Salvo also gave an opinion on Paris Brunner, the Monaco professional, who received a four‑match ban for a provocative goal celebration; he stated that the gesture was a mistake, but emphasized that Brunner presents himself well in the U21 circle.
