Belgian loan spell aims to accelerate Moustapha Diop’s growth

🇧🇪 By 4AllFootball ·

Senegalese centre‑back Moustapha Diop, 20, has been sent on loan from French side FC Metz to Belgian club RFC Seraing to continue his development in Belgium. The move follows his September 2025 arrival at Metz from the Senegalese academy Génération Foot and reflects the partnership between the two clubs.

This loan will see the 20‑year‑old defender spend the upcoming season with RFC Seraing, a club that serves as a partner for French training projects. FC Metz confirmed the loan aims to give Diop regular playing time in the Belgian league.

Diop is a Senegal youth international who plays as a central defender. He joined FC Metz in September 2025 after developing at the renowned Génération Foot academy in Senegal.
