Bayern Musiala's health scare repeats ahead of Super Cup
Jamal Musiala, the 23‑year‑old Germany (Duitsland) international, fell ill for the second time in four days during Bayern München’s 4‑2 friendly win over FC Heidenheim on Tuesday evening, prompting him to sit on the pitch and eventually leave the field unaided.
The attacker could not continue after his brief appearance and was helped off by his own effort. He sat on the ground after feeling unwell and eventually walked off the pitch unaided.
Players from both Bayern München and FC Heidenheim formed a circle around him to safeguard his privacy. Musiala had suffered a similar spell of illness on Saturday during a game against RB Leipzig.
The German side now turns its attention to the German Super Cup, where Bayern will face Borussia Dortmund next Saturday. The upcoming fixture adds pressure as the club assesses Musiala’s condition ahead of the showdown.
