Bayern München rewards players with Oktoberfest after beating Union

Bayern Munich has given players permission to go to the Oktoberfest after the comfortable victory over Union Berlin. The club confirmed that a visit to the Bavarian traditional festival is now officially allowed. “Those who play well are rewarded,” reads the message.

Festive reward after victory over Union Berlin

Director Max Eberl spoke after the win in the press area and told, among others, TZ that he has given the players permission to celebrate the Oktoberfest. He emphasized that the club has been going to the festival for years and that this season the full squad will be present. The club called the evening a “great result”.

Bayern has not suffered a single defeat this season and has scored five or more goals in three different matches. Against Union Berlin the attack found the net seven times. This productivity underscores the strong start to the season.

Eberl said: ‘A great result’ and added: ‘A great start to the Oktoberfest as well. It could not have gone better.’ The remarks highlighted the link between sporting success and the festive joy.

Because of the good start to the season, players are also allowed to visit the notorious beer tents on their own. Players who are not called up for the international break can go wild. Bayern therefore remains a regular guest at the Oktoberfest.

Bayern play their next match on October 10, away against FC Augsburg. The club hopes to continue the form in the upcoming fixture.
