Bayern and PSG dominate age‑group market values with biggest block

The latest Transfermarkt analysis titled “Wertvollste Spieler pro Altersklasse” shows that FC Bayern and Paris Saint‑Germain (PSG) each field the largest block of top‑valued players, with market values ranging from €3 million to €220 million across the 26 age categories in the global market.

Distribution Across Clubs and Leagues

Fifteen clubs are represented among the most valuable players aged 16 to 41, with FC Bayern and PSG contributing five players each, the highest count. Real Madrid follows with three players. Eight different leagues appear, including one representative each from Serie A, the Süper Lig and the Saudi Pro League.

The overall market‑value spectrum spans €3 million at the low end to €220 million at the top, and in eight of the 26 age groups the leading value exceeds €100 million.

Record‑Breaking Valuations

Michael Olise set a new Bundesliga benchmark after his market value rose by €20 million to €170 million, making him the most valuable Bundesliga professional ever and the highest‑valued player in his 24‑year‑old age class.

Erling Haaland and World‑Cup winner Lamine Yamal each reached €220 million, establishing a record for the 26‑year‑old and 19‑year‑old categories respectively.

Bundesliga Highlights and Methodology

Beyond Olise, the Bundesliga and FC Bayern feature Aleksandar Pavlović (€90 million), Joshua Kimmich (€35 million), Harry Kane (€60 million) and Manuel Neuer (€4 million) in the 22, 31, 33 and 40 age brackets. Thomas Müller, now 36, remains the most valuable player at €4 million.

Several players fell out of the top list: Lennart Karl (€60 million) was overtaken by Ayyoub Bouaddi (€80 million) among the 18‑year‑olds, and Kennet Eichhorn (€20 million) was surpassed by Liverpool’s Rio Ngumoha (€30 million) in the 17‑year‑old group.

Mohamed Salah, who led the 34‑year‑old class at €22 million, has since signed for Trabzonspor in the Süper Lig. Henrikh Mkhitaryan remains the highest‑valued Serie A player at €3 million in the 37‑year‑old bracket.

Transfermarkt market values are generated using various pricing models and extensive community discussion; they are expectations, not actual transfer fees, and incorporate individual transfer conditions and situational factors.
