Barcola slams Premier League tactic after Champions League hat‑trick

The 24‑year‑old French winger, Barcola, scored a resounding hat‑trick in the Champions League against LASK (6‑3), but his Premier League debut has proved more modest statistically.
A less tactical style according to Barcola
On Téléfoot, the former Paris Saint‑Germain striker compared the transition between Ligue 1 and the Premier League, highlighting the differences with Luis Enrique's highly elaborate system at PSG. « It’s different, I think it’s less tactical », he said.
He recalled that under Luis Enrique, positional changes were frequent: « With the former coach, I had to come back, also go to the side, after that it took my place ». Today, he believes the rotations are fewer.
Barcola added that the English league is overall less rigid, with ball circulation and rotations less complex than those required at Paris Saint‑Germain.
In his role at Liverpool, he describes a more direct and fixed approach, contrasting with the need to constantly zone at his former club.
Despite these differences, he retains an excellent impression of his new manager and his integration into the group, remaining confident about his rise in prominence on British pitches.
