Barcelona target Arsenal defender Hincapie in January

Barcelona have added Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie to their list of defensive targets for the January market, according to Deco and his team.

On 01 November, at Anfield, Liverpool hosted Arsenal in the Premier League 2026/27, in Liverpool, ENGLAND (England), where Hincapie celebrated the victory.

A report from Diario Sport states that Hincapie fits perfectly with what the Catalan club is looking for ahead of the winter window.

Hincapie is left-footed, experienced, and can play as a centre‑back or left‑back.

He is not a starter at Arsenal, which opens the possibility that he could be tempted to leave the club.

Convincing Mikel Arteta to let go of a player who signed permanently in the summer, after a good loan spell, could prove difficult.

Barcelona had already been linked with Hincapie early in the season and still consider him a target.
