Barcelona could lure Porro if Spurs stumble in the 2026/27 season
Pedro Porro is under contract with Tottenham Hotspur until 2031, but Football Insider indicates that the right‑back may reconsider his situation if the poor results of the London side continue during the 2026/27 campaign.
Possible move to Catalonia
The report suggests that Barcelona could close a deal in the near future, taking advantage of the dissatisfaction of the player with the current situation of the English club.
Porro, 27, said he is happy at Spurs, but acknowledged that the situation is at risk of reversing if the team continues to have negative performances.
The contract of the Spanish international, signed this summer, has an extensible clause until 2032, which gives him room to evaluate proposals before the end of the season.
The full‑back arrived at Tottenham for €45 million, after a spell at Sporting between 2020 and 2023, initially on loan from Manchester City.
In the current season he has made four appearances, having previously worn the shirts of Don Benito, Rayo Vallecano, Girona, Peralada and Real Valladolid in his native country.
The information was released by Football Insider and initially published on Bola na Rede, reinforcing speculation about a possible return of the player to Catalonia.
