Asllanis Wechsel to RB Leipzig collapsed after the club finalised the Yan Diomande transfer to Madrid, leaving the only remaining step – the completion of the move – unfulfilled, and Fisnik Asllani remaining at TSG Hoffenheim despite earlier expectations that the Weg would be clear.

The Diomande deal removed the only obstacle in Leipzig’s transfer strategy, as the club had been waiting for the Vollzug of the Asllanis Wechsel. RB Leipzig completed the Transfer of Yan Diomande to Madrid, which was expected to free the Weg for the Hoffenheim midfielder.

With the Weg cleared, Leipzig appeared ready to secure the Hoffenheim midfielder, but the finalisation never materialised. The anticipated move remained pending despite the cleared path.

As a result, Fisnik Asllani will continue with TSG Hoffenheim, while RB Leipzig must reassess its options in the midfield market.
