Arsenal's price demand for Gyökeres hampers Juventus' transfer plans

A recent photo of Viktor Gyökeres (often written as Gyokeres), taken by Imago, shows the 28‑year‑old striker in an Arsenal shirt, while rumours of a departure in 2027 occupy the Gunners. The Londoners have already set a concrete price in millions for a possible sale.

Arsenal's price demand of over £60 million

According to “TuttoJuve”, Arsenal demands more than £60 million for the 28‑year‑old Gyökeres. This amount is significantly higher than what Italian top clubs have paid for a striker so far.

The Gunners emphasize that they will not accept any loan and will only consider permanent transfer offers. This approach considerably limits the negotiation options of interested clubs.

A possible transfer would consume a significant portion of Juventus's or AC Milan's budget. Both clubs would therefore have to allocate a large share of their funds for a single player.

Gyökeres moved in the summer of 2025 from Sporting CP to Arsenal after an extremely successful spell in Portugal. There he made a name for himself as a clinical goal scorer, which enabled the step to the Premier League.

The Swedish international is on the wish list of Juventus and AC Milan, both of which are seeking offensive reinforcements. Both Italian clubs are considering signing the striker in 2027.

If an offer meets the Gunners' price expectation, Gyökeres could leave the Emirates Stadium and continue his career in Italy. Until then, his stay at Arsenal beyond 2027 remains uncertain.
