Arsenal eye January swoop as Endrick’s Madrid future hangs in balance

Arsenal are eyeing a January swoop for 20‑year‑old Brazilian forward Endrick as they look to plug a striking‑depth gap after injuries and a congested fixture list, an Exclusive report from EPL News, Squad Stats and TEAMtalk reveals amid growing concerns over his future at Real Madrid.

The 20‑year‑old returned to Real Madrid in the summer after representing Brazil at the World Cup, but under manager Jose Mourinho he has slipped down the attacking pecking order. A minor injury suffered after his loan spell at Lyon further limited his immediate opportunities, leaving his camp uneasy about his first‑team prospects. His situation at the Estadio Bernabeu remains uncertain.

Competition for places at Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Arda Güler and Brahim Díaz already sit ahead of Endrick, while summer signings Bernardo Silva, Yan Diomande and Carlos Espínola have intensified the battle for minutes. That has left Endrick’s camp seeking greater clarity over the role the club envisions for him.

Arsenal’s pursuit and wider Premier League interest

Arsenal made late enquiries on 28 August, and despite Real Madrid’s public stance that they do not wish to lose the highly‑rated forward, the Gunners have kept dialogue open. Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Fulham also voiced interest during the summer window, fuelling speculation that a January departure – or even a 2027 exit – could materialise.

Arsenal chase as Liverpool and Real Madrid target €25m midfielder

Endrick is currently away with Brazil for friendlies against Australia and India, and his representatives are due to meet Real Madrid during the forthcoming international break. The discussions are expected to focus on his development and whether he can anticipate a more prominent first‑team role in the coming months. Both clubs hope the talks will clarify whether a loan or permanent move is feasible.

Madrid remain reluctant to part with a player they have invested heavily in and still regard him as a major future talent. Nevertheless, Endrick does not want to abandon his Madrid dream and is keen to secure assurances that his pathway to regular football is clear.

Should Real Madrid eventually consider an exit, Arsenal’s interest remains significant and the pool of English suitors ensures no shortage of options. For now, the upcoming talks provide Endrick’s camp with a crucial opportunity to obtain the clarity they need before any transfer decision is taken.
