Arsenal eye £60m‑plus Yildiz swap as they chase a world‑class winger

Arsenal are exploring a swap deal for Kenan Yildiz(Image: DeFodi via Getty Images) with Juventus, potentially sending Gabriel Martinelli, as the Gunners aim to finalise transfers in the final ten days of the summer window on 21 Aug 2026. Juventus are said to value Yildiz at over £60m.

Arsenal chase world‑class winger

Mikel Arteta’s desire for a world‑class left winger is well documented, and the 21‑year‑old Turkey international fits that profile. Yildiz signed a new contract earlier this year that runs until 2030, meaning Juventus expect a lofty fee for their talisman. The Independent reports Juventus would ask upwards of £60m to release him.

View 3 ImagesArsenal could meet that price by swapping Gabriel Martinelli, who has been transfer‑listed this summer. Juventus are expected to demand cash on top of the player, and Arsenal have already turned down a £38m bid from Galatasaray for Martinelli, signalling they are holding out for a larger offer.

Swap deal with Juventus

The Gunners have already ramped up their business, signing Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle for £75m and Ezri Konsa of Aston Villa for £51m. They also added back‑up goalkeeper Illan Meslier on a free transfer and paid £34m for Christos Tzolis, who notched two assists in his competitive debut during a 3‑0 Community Shield win over Manchester City.

Rio Ferdinand praised the Konsa signing, calling it “a magnificent signing” and “an absolute steal” on his YouTube channel. He highlighted Konsa’s versatility at centre‑half and right‑back, noting the Gunners’ need for cover given injuries to Ben White, Timber, and William Saliba.

If the swap materialises, Arsenal would secure a world‑class winger to bolster their attack, while Juventus would receive a proven Premier League forward in Martinelli plus cash, helping both clubs balance their books and pursue their season objectives.
