Arsenal demands €70m for Gyokeres and shuns AC Milan

Arsenal Football Club set Viktor Gyokeres's release price at 70 million euros, a sum that, according to Italian journalist Carlo Pellegatti, has kept AC Milan away from the race for the Swedish forward, including the proposal involving Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim.

Price hinders Milan's interest

The asking price equals the investment that the London club made in 2025 to secure the signing of the so‑called “masked man” from Sporting, according to the same source. This amount prevents the Rossoneri, who have shown interest in the striker, from meeting Arsenal's demands.

In the current season, Gyokeres has logged only 207 minutes in five matches for Arsenal and has not recorded any assist or goal. The player has already admitted that he is not satisfied with the situation, but he acknowledged that his departure has become complicated.

On the Swedish national team side, the situation differs: in just 165 minutes spread over two games, Gyokeres scored two goals, showing a effectiveness that he has not yet reproduced on the pitches of London.

Arsenal has completely ruled out the possibility of loaning Gyokeres, despite the interest shown by AC Milan. The Italians made exploratory contact, but the English club would require more than £60 million to consider a permanent sale, making a potential move in January highly unlikely.

With the price maintained, Gyokeres's stay in North London gains momentum, leaving the forward's future still uncertain while AC Milan looks for alternatives.
