Arsenal aims to poach BVB's target Josh King from Premier League

In London Arsenal officially opened the race for the 19‑year‑old attacking midfielder Josh King from FC Fulham today. The young Englishman, who has already scored two goals in five Premier‑League appearances, is also in the sights of Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool, while the club values him at around €60 million.

Arsenal's Interest and Valuation

The London club sees King as a long‑term project and, according to media reports, has him on its radar for about €60 million. Mikel Arteta is said to highly value the abilities of the 19‑year‑old attacking midfielder, which further reinforces the manager’s interest.

King comes through the youth system of FC Fulham and is increasingly establishing himself in the first team. His contract runs until June 2029, meaning Fulham is not under pressure to sell and has so far not planned a winter transfer.

Borussia Dortmund, often referred to as BVB, has been linked with King for several weeks and sees him as a player who fits the club’s transfer policy – signing young talents with great potential. However, the Dortmund side must contend with growing competition from the Premier League.

Fulham could negotiate over the player in the summer of 2027, but only for a very high offer. According to media reports, the club is demanding around €60 million, an amount that puts Arsenal, Liverpool and BVB in a financial decision.
