Arévalo’s move hinges on Demirovic staying at VfB Stuttgart

Jeremy Arévalo can only leave the Schwaben this Sommer if Ermedin Demirovic remains at VfB Stuttgart, making the Zukunft of the 21‑Jahre‑old Ecuadorianer directly dependent on the Bosnian midfielder’s fate.

Arévalo’s contract and status

Arévalo arrived from Racing Santander in Januar 2026, signing a Vertrag that runs until the Sommer of 2031. The Ecuadorianer, despite his age, has yet to secure a regular Platz in the Profis squad.

Mehrere clubs from Spain and France are being linked as potential buyers. According to Informationen from Sky, VfB would consider both a Leihe and a permanent Verkauf for Arévalos if the right conditions arise.

Demirovic’s transfer saga

Ermedin Demirovic, a Bosnian international, is under contract with the Bundesligisten until 2028. Galatasaray Istanbul have tabled an official offer of €15 million, which Stuttgart rejected as too low.

Nach aktuellen Berichten, Turkish transfer journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu says talks continue, with a possible Einigung between Galatasaray and Demirovic, but no definitive agreement has been reached.

Galatasaray has also inquired about Bilal El Khannouss, submitting an offer for the offensive player as well.

Bleibt Demirovic in Stuttgart, the club could approve a Wechsel for Arévalo. Should the 28‑year‑old leave, Arévalo is expected to remain with the Schwaben for the time being.
