Anderlecht snap Ligue 2 top scorer Tawfik Bentayeb

Anderlecht have officially announced on Friday the signing of Tawfik Bentayeb from Union Touarga, securing the Ligue 2 top scorer of last season who recorded 18 goals. The 24‑year‑old striker joins the Belgian club as they look to boost their attacking options for the upcoming campaign.

The club confirmed the deal on Friday, echoing earlier it had been monitoring the forward's progress. Bentayeb's 18‑goal haul made him the leading marksman in Ligue 2 last season. He arrives from Union Touarga to add firepower to Anderlecht's attack.
