Anderlecht chase Austrian striker as Raul Florucz path looms

While the summer transfer window has officially closed, clubs across Europe are already dispatching scouts to uncover the next bargain, and Anderlecht are no exception. The Belgian side have turned their attention to 23‑year‑old Austrian forward Muharem Husković, whose goal‑rich spell in Bosnia mirrors the early career of Raul Florucz.

Scouting beyond the window

Representatives from both Kalmar and RSC Anderlecht attended a match at Grbavica last weekend, watching Željezničar host Zenica Čelik. Their presence, noted by local outlet Klix Sports, was explained by the impressive displays of three Željezničar players – Aldian Korora, Eldar Dragović and Husković. Sporting also sent observers to the Željezničar‑Sarajevo fixture, underscoring how clubs are working in the shadows for the next transfer windows.

Husković’s Bosnian breakthrough

The Austrian, who spent his formative years at Austria Vienna, joined Željezničar in February after a loan spell at Blau‑Weiss Linz. In the Bosnian Premier League he has already netted three goals in eight appearances, doing so in just 294 minutes – a strike every 98 minutes. An official announcement lists him as a 22‑year‑old signing a contract until 2028.

Anderlecht already have several striking options – Tawfik Bentayeb, Mihajlo Cvetković, Danylo Sikan and Adriano Bertaccini – but the scouting department remains vigilant for profiles that combine youth, efficiency and resale potential. Kalmar, having sold many forwards this summer, are also eyeing Husković, meaning the Belgian club could face competition for his signature.
