Ajax eye Wolves striker Arokodare after 26‑million euro move
Today at 13:27, Matteo Moretto asserted that Ajax are among the clubs tracking 25‑year‑old striker Tolu Arokodare, who Wolves signed a year ago for €26 million from KRC Genk and now may depart England. The claim came as the Amsterdammers recently spent nearly €20 million on forward Marcos Leonardo.
On Monday, Arokodare was the central figure in an incident at Wolves' training ground. The episode highlighted his prominence within the squad.
A transfer to Ajax would be, at the very least, a striking development for both clubs. The Dutch capital club have only just opened their transfer budget on another forward.

Ajax have recently committed nearly €20 million to sign striker Marcos Leonardo, underscoring their intent to reinforce the attack. Leonardo’s arrival follows the club’s aggressive spending spree this summer.
Earlier this month, Fiorentina entered concrete negotiations with Wolves for Arokodare, proposing a loan deal that included a €22 million purchase option. The deal, however, did not materialise, leaving the striker available for other suitors.
