Adzic shines at Sassuolo and in Montenegro: Juventus opens talks

Vasilije Adzic scores four goals and provides an assist in six matches across Serie A and Coppa Italia, showing his best form at Sassuolo, the team he is on loan to from Juventus. At the same time, the twenty‑year‑old lights up the Montenegrin national team with a brace against Latvia in the UEFA Nations League.

The role of Juventus in managing the young talent

According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the Old Lady aims to keep the 2006‑born attacking midfielder in its future project. After the summer, Juventus shut the door on a permanent transfer to Germany, avoiding a revenue of €12‑13 million.

The club has decided to park Adzic on loan in Reggio Emilia to let him develop, postponing any assessment to the next summer market.

Juventus included a buy‑back clause of €1.7 million, after receiving €500 thousand from Sassuolo for the loan plus the salary payment.

Sources indicate that contacts have already begun between the Old Lady and Adzic’s agents, to reassure the intention to include the youngster at the centre of the future project.

Adzic, very attached to the black‑and‑white world, seems ready to return to Turin, but the final decision will come only in the summer.
