Aberdeen appoints former Scotland captain Rachel Corsie to board
Aberdeen Football Club has appointed former Scotland captain Rachel Corsie to its board of directors, adding the lifelong supporter and qualified chartered accountant to the club’s governance structure. The move blends her elite sporting pedigree with professional expertise and signals a strategic push for the club’s women’s programme.
Aberdeen said she brings a blend of elite sporting experience, strategic thinking and commercial expertise. The club highlighted her ability to contribute off the pitch.

Corsie is a qualified chartered accountant. She holds a professional accounting qualification.
Corsie will also oversee Aberdeen’s women’s set‑up, signalling a strategic push forward. The role includes shaping the development pathway for female players.
