Aarau secures French midfielder Beka Beka after La Louvière stint

French midfielder Alexis Beka Beka, 25, departs Belgian side RAAL La Louvière after just one season, joining Swiss Challenge League club FC Aarau on a contract running to June 2028, and he signed a deal with the Swiss side; the transfer fee has not been disclosed.

La Louvière offered the French midfielder a chance to rebuild his career after a serious personal crisis in 2023, bringing him in on a free transfer last summer to revive his form.

During his solitary campaign, Beka Beka featured in only nine matches and found the net once, failing to become a regular starter for the Belgian club.

FC Aarau secured his services with a contract that runs until June 2028; the Swiss side competes in the second tier of Swiss football and the transfer fee was not disclosed, while Transfermarkt lists his market value at roughly €300,000, far below the €12 million Nice paid a few years earlier.

For Aarau, the signing provides an opportunity to give the 25‑year‑old regular playing time and potentially restore his career trajectory. For La Louvière, the departure frees up a squad place and removes a player who did not meet the club’s expectations, with no fee reported.
