€50 million price tag fuels Diego Moreira’s Milan move
AC Milan are set to spend roughly €50 million on 22‑year‑old Belgian winger Diego Moreira, who arrived in Milan on Tuesday to finalise his move from RC Strasbourg and undergo a medical examination. If the check passes, the club plans to present him on Wednesday, according to transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Impressive Ligue 1 season
Update: The 22‑year‑old winger featured in 27 Ligue 1 matches for RC Strasbourg last season, scoring four goals and providing six assists. His contributions convinced AC Milan to pursue what the club describes as a top transfer.
The deal is reported to be worth about €50 million, with potential bonuses that could raise the total further. Such a fee reflects the value placed on his recent performances.

The Belgian also featured in Belgium’s World Cup squad last summer under national coach Rudi Garcia, though his minutes were limited. He entered the match against Senegal in the 63rd minute, replacing Hans Vanaken.
The transfer underscores AC Milan’s active recruitment in the market, targeting young talent with proven Ligue 1 experience.
The medical assessment remains the final hurdle before the contract is officially signed, after which the player will join AC Milan’s squad for the upcoming season.
