€4 million Nusa signing gets Friedkin’s green light at Roma

Owner Dan Friedkin has given the go‑ahead for a €4 million transfer that will see Norwegian winger Nusa join Roma, a move aimed at filling the creative void in the Giallorossi midfield after a key departure. The deal also doubles the player’s current salary, underscoring the club’s commitment to a fresh attacking spark.

Roma have announced a double‑signing strategy for this window, targeting striker Luis Castro alongside Nusa. Both players are expected to arrive on permanent deals, signalling a coordinated effort to reshape the squad’s offensive and midfield options.

The club’s hierarchy believes the arrivals will bolster both attack and midfield, providing depth and versatility as the Giallorossi reshape their playing style. Management sees the two signings as complementary pieces that will enhance overall squad balance.

In parallel, Roma are one step away from completing a deal with Bologna for an Argentine centre‑forward, a player who would add additional firepower to the front line. Securing the South American striker would further diversify the team’s attacking arsenal.

Negotiations continue with German side Leipzig to bring the 2005‑born Norwegian winger to Trigoria. Roma are working to satisfy both parties before finalising the move, aiming to lock in the transfer before the window closes.

Roma’s current offer for Nusa includes a €4 million transfer fee and a contract that would double his existing salary. The Norwegian’s agreement now sits at the centre of the deal, with personal terms yet to be signed.

According to La dello Sport, Leipzig is demanding an asking price of €55‑60 million for the winger and has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs. The German side has made clear it will not cut corners on its valuation.

Owner Dan Friedkin has said the club is not intimidated by Leipzig’s stance and that the owners have already earmarked €50 million for a potential Summerville signing, highlighting the financial muscle behind Roma’s transfer plans.

While Nusa remains the primary target for midfield reinforcement, Roma are also monitoring El Mala, Bobb and Luiz Henrique as possible additions. These players are being closely evaluated by the scouting department.

The next step is to secure the Norwegian winger’s personal terms and obtain Leipzig’s agreement. Any delay in reaching a consensus could stall the double move and leave the Giallorossi still searching for a creative spark.
