20 M€ price fuels ASSE’s end‑season exodus as Verts brace for exits

After bolstering its midfield, AS Saint‑Étienne (ASSE) is now orchestrating a sweeping squad trim, with the Belgian striker Lucas Stassin listed at a €20 M€ price tag that could dominate the final weeks of the transfer window.

Midfield reinforcement and upcoming squad overhaul

The club announced that, following recent midfield signings, it is preparing a “vast operation de‑graissage” to streamline the roster. Several departures are being clarified, and the Verts could lose Stassin if an offer meets their demands. The market activity is accelerating in the Forez region, according to local reports.

According to Peuple Vert, the ASSE hierarchy is pushing four players toward exits: Mickaël Nadé, Aïmen Moueffek, Ebenezer Annan and Igor Miladinovic. These names have surfaced as the most likely to leave the green side.

Four players earmarked for departure

Mickaël Nadé recently visited a foreign club’s facilities but failed to finalize a move. Back in L’Étrat, the central defender now has another serious option outside France, though he will not join Aris Limassol, which recently recruited Juraj Badelj.

Aïmen Moueffek is currently the subject of discussions with an interested formation, while Scandinavian clubs are advancing on Ebenezer Annan. Igor Miladinovic’s case appears the most advanced, with a loan to Partizan Belgrade that includes an option to buy.

Lucas Stassin’s €20 M€ tag and interested clubs

Lucas Stassin is valued at 20 M€ and is on the radar of Benfica and Atlético Madrid, in addition to an unnamed club currently in talks with ASSE. Kilmer Sports is demanding close to 20 M€ to release the striker.

Pierre Ekwah is also deemed likely to depart, with Getafe having made inquiries. However, the price set by the Saint‑Étienne directors has so far cooled potential suitors.

New arrivals and left‑back search

In contrast, ASSE has just confirmed the signing of Slovenian midfielder Tamar Svetlin from Korona Kielce, a key figure in the Polish league. The recruitment cell still hopes to attract at least two more players, including a left‑back despite the injury to Ben Old.

The possible Stassin transfer is prompting the club to seek an offensive reinforcement, with a Swiss‑based striker already on the short‑list. The ongoing activity underscores a busy market period for the Verts in the Forez area.
